Name: Paul Applegarth Age: 6..?   Occupation: Retired Date of joining Uppermill: November 2010 Previous Bands: With over 50 years of playing in bands there have been too numerous to mention. However, the top three must be (in alphabetical order) G.U.S., Kings of Brass, and Leyland DAF Most Memorable Banding Moment: Winning the British Open in 1988 in the Free Trade Hall, Manchester ~ on Heaton's 'Contest Music' with Bramwell Tovey conducting and having the honour to be invited to join Kings of Brass in 1994.  Most Embarrassing Banding Moment: Falling through the temporary stage at Brass in Concert in 1982 and trying to make a decent sound on a badly dented Bach!
